Qualifying results of MotoGP Le Mans France

Qualifying results of MotoGP Le Mans France Although it might be hard to believe considering his form so far in the MotoGP World Championship, Valentino Rossi scored his first pole position of the 2010 season during qualifying for the French Grand Prix at the Le Mans Bugatti circuit. Rossi’s time of 1:33.408 held off the advances of Fiat Yamaha teammate Jorge Lorenzo and Repsol Honda’s Dani Pedrosa, while early session leader Casey Stoner had to settle for a spot on the second row on his Ducati after failing to improve as the session wore on. Stoner’s teammate Nicky Hayden was barely .021 second behind, but wasn’t exactly jumping for joy, feeling that his pace on race tires definitely needs improvement if he is to stay with the leaders "The second line is a positive result for us, because to be honest, my race pace was not great," said the Kentucky Kid "and now we have given ourselves a chance, because the beginning is very important here. We have made a great step cycle in the morning session, but was not really able to follow up with another afternoon, so we have work to do tonight, because right moment it is looking like a really difficult race for us"

Monster Tech 3 Yamaha's Colin Edwards drove hard to snatch eighth place network, although it was impossible to understand what he has to deal with the leader. "I'm riding as hard as I can, but I only finished eighth, Edwards said." These guys have fallen in front of half a second from pole time last year, and although I hate to say, I failed in the mid-33 Bike feel well and I think that is good but is work hard trying to drive the pace front of the group. We worked hard this weekend, and we seem to have corrected some of the problems we had in the first two races. I feel more comfortable with the bike and the front end is improving.
